More of Peter's Sculpture - A Piece I'd Nearly Forgotten
My project to scan old photos has produced some unexpected results. In going through boxes of photographs, I discovered some great pics of Peter's sculpture that I haven't looked at for years. Like this photo of a bronze of a woman on a swing. I had almost forgotten this piece and it was nice to see images of it again. Peter didn't often do figurative work, and I can't remember why he did this particular piece. He got me to model for it. Peter rigged up a swing in my studio and I sat on it, sometimes swinging and kicking my legs in the air, while he modeled the figure in clay. We had fun!
The little woman on a swing was shown at a sculpture garden in Tennessee and someone purchased it. I think it was in 1994 or 1995, but it seems so long ago. I always liked this little sculpture - it had such a gentle feeling.

Wow, Evlyn, this is so wonderful. And how cool that you modelled for it. I'd love to have that piece in my garden. Lucky is the person who does.
